Just back from Thailand with new specimens, the Collection is growing on www.gemmius.com …
At the end of summer 2016, We went looking for gems in Thailand, more precisely in the East of the country to Chantaburi, near the Cambodian border. Indeed this town is very famous for its stones market, There are specimens coming from all continents in a typical and amazing.
We were able to buy beautiful rubies from Mozambique and Burma, sapphires of light blue of Sri Lanka to the deep blue sapphires in Madagascar, as well as color sapphires, garnets, and still other species.
This trip was an opportunity for us to build relationships of trust with some local actors of the trade of gems, discover beautiful stones and buy some, all of this by taking advantage of the framework and s ’ mishaps of Thai culture.
